
History of Hazel, KY
Hazel, Kentucky, is one of only two incorporated cities in Calloway
County; the other being Murray, the county seat. Hazel is
located on the KY/TN state line, bordering Henry County, TN.
Hazel was founded in 1890 and was a rail center and bustling center of
commerce in tobacco, clay, and livestock.
Today, Hazel is an antique shopper's mecca with 12 stores and malls, all
